Week 3 of 6 (Autumn Term H1)

☕ Coffee Notices

West Norwood Feast - Sunday 4 October

We have one final rehearsal on Thursday 1 October before our performance at West Norwood Feast on the 4th. The set list, Event Pack and Lyric Pack are now available on the Performing page.

Elena will be conducting, and we’ll be singing some familiar favourites as well as our new song, Feeling Groovy. At next week’s rehearsal, we’ll run through the full set list, but please practise as much as you can beforehand using the recordings in the Music Library.

If you’d like to perform and haven’t already signed up, there’s still time – you can register here. And if you’re new to choir and don’t feel quite ready to perform with us yet, you’re very welcome to come along and watch us!

Shaping up for Christmas 🎄 We already have two performances lined up for Christmas. The first is at The Westow in Crystal Palace as part of the Christmas Light Switch On event. The second will be our usual booking at the hugely enjoyable Stanley Arts Christmas Concert.

We’ll share more details about both performances as soon as they’re available.

Song Notes

This week we covered Feeling Groovy again for members who were absent last week. We also sang through some of the other songs that will be part of our setlist for West Norwood Feast: Edelweiss, Shallow, Jolene.

Next week we will revise Chiquitita and Perfect and then run through our full setlist in preparation for our performance. All songs, including lyrics and voice parts, are available in the Music Library.
