Rehearsal
At this week's rehearsal we worked on What Happens When a Woman - singing through the song a few times with the layered harmonies etc (see video 1 below). We also built on last week's work on It's Alright - learning the rest of the song and the backing vocals/harmonies (see video 2 below).
Next week we'll polish up these songs and start revising the other songs in our setlist for the 6th April (more on that below).
You can get a copy of lyrics and listen to the recordings of all our songs in our Lyric & Audio Library.
Help improve our 'search-ability'

We're trying to improve COTH's 'search-ability' on Google - by that we mean when someone types 'choirs near me' into their search bar, we want COTH to come up high in the list. One way we can do that is by adding reviews to our Google Map listing. If you can spare a few minutes to do it, here's how:
Click on this link.
Scroll down to 'rate and review' and then leave a star rating. If you type a review, using some helpful keywords like 'South Norwood' or 'Crystal Palace' and 'women's community choir' etc, will make us much more searchable! Thank you.

TBC SATURDAY 14 JUNE Crystal Palace Park: Festival of Architecture
We are in talks with Crystal Palace Park Trust about taking part in the event they are hosting in June as part of this year's London Festival of Architecture. The theme of the festival is 'voices' (https://www.londonfestivalofarchitecture.org/2025-festival). Their idea is to have different choirs/performances in various locations in the Park. Visitors would then be encouraged to explore the Park through sound.
This could be a very exciting opportunity for us and we'll share more information as soon as we have it.
