Saturday 14 June - Crystal Palace Park: Festival of Architecture
Rehearsal
At this week's rehearsal, it was lovely to see everyone back and to welcome some new members into the COTH family.
We started working on Keep on Movin' by the 90s boy band, Five. The altos and sopranos were both divided up into 2 groups (alto 1 & 2 / soprano 1 & 2) with some harmonies in the chorus (see lyric sheet for details). The lyrics, audio of Elena singing, and some clipped sections (i.e. the verses, chorus and harmonies) are in our Lyric & Audio Library.
We also revised Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper - focusing on the ending part in particular. The updated (definitive version!) lyrics and recordings are also in our Lyric & Audio Library.

SATURDAY 14 JUNE Crystal Palace Park: Festival of Architecture
Crystal Palace Park Trust are hosting an event in June as part of this year's London Festival of Architecture. The theme of the festival is 'voices' (https://www.londonfestivalofarchitecture.org/2025-festival). Their idea is to have different choirs/performances in various locations in the Park. Visitors would then be encouraged to explore the Park through sound.
We'll share more information (and a registration form) as soon as we have it.
